For more than 60 years, Georgia Boots has been a leading manufacturer of top quality work boots. Their boots are designed with cutting edge innovations and technology, with materials like Thinsulate insulation, Gore-Tex, SPR Leather and Comfort Core. Their boots are designed for the best in comfort and foot protection both, and their steel-toed boots meet all OSHA specifications.

The folks at Georgia Boots know that it’s sometimes harder for women to find a pair of top-quality steel toed work boots, but this boot’s got what any working woman needs in a pair of boots. The 6” upper is full-grain leather in a dark Soggy Brown color, with a bumper guard at the welt to protect against abrasion.

The Goodyear welt construction means that these boots can be resoled when the soles wear out, and the internal padded collar means great comfort and ankle support. There’s also a cushioned, covered insole for shock absorption and to disperse the wearer’s weight, making long hours less tiring on the feet. The unlined quarters help feet from overheating and getting sweaty, while there’s a high-performance lining for the rest of the inside of the boot.

For protection, there’s an OSHA/ASTM-compliant steel toe that meets standards for impact and compression, and a steel shank for arch support. The nail-free construction meets OSHA’s Electrical Hazard Standard, and these boots are also completely in compliance with chemical resistance and resistance to exposure to oil and gas. If you’re looking for a tough, versatile work boot that’s comfortable for long hours on the job and is surprisingly affordable, you can’t go wrong with the Georgia Giant Women’s Steel Toed Work Boot.

About Safety Ratings

For steel toes, impact testing is used to determine the degree of protection that the boots provide under a given amount of force, measured in foot-pounds. Compression testing measures the amount of pressure, rather than impact, that a steel or composite toe cap can endure before failing.

Electrical safety ratings mean that the shoe is insulated from the ground to prevent conduction of electricity, but isn’t intended as a primary insulation or protection against electrocution. Leather boots must be dry to comply with this electrical safety standard.

Comfort Core® Insole

In keeping with Georgia Boot’s reputation for innovation, the Georgia Giant Women’s Steel Toed Work Boot is designed with the revolutionary Comfort Core® insole system. The cushiony material of the Comfort Core® insole features an ergonomic arch support that will quickly mold to the contours of your foot for a quick break-in period. Extensive perforations on the insole’s bottom are designed to enhance airflow and cooling for the soles of your feet and help prevent overheating. At the heel is a plug that soaks up shock and stores that energy when it’s compressed, then springs back and releases energy every time you lift your foot while walking.

All boots from Georgia Giant are covered by a one-year warranty against defects in materials, manufacturing or workmanship. In addition, any boots with Georgia waterproof construction are guaranteed to remain waterproof for six months after date of purchase. The warranty doesn’t cover misuse or abuse by the wearer, and doesn’t burn marks, holes worn in toes, punctures, cuts or abrasions.

About Georgia Boot Company

OSHA, Underwriters Laboratories and other industry groups provide very specific guidelines and requirements for safety in work boots.

Way back in 1937, Georgia Boot Company opened its doors in Atlanta, Georgia, with the intention of making the best-quality, dependable work footwear at an affordable price. Today, Georgia Boot is an industry leader that has never wavered from those core objectives, with a product range that includes traditional work boots as well as specialized industry-specific protective footwear, farm and ranch boots and shoes and even casual shoes for off-the-clock wear.

Georgia Boot was first-to-market with Comfort Core® technology, a revolutionary insole system that offers the comfort and resilience of an athletic shoe for work boots.

In the 1950s, Georgia Boot introduced Georgia Giant, which became a hugely successful work boot line and crossed over into the casual market. Their Georgia Logger has become an industry staple and continues to be a preferred boot for its category. Today, Georgia Boot is still America’s Hardest Working Boot, with quality that meets the expectations of the hardest-working people in America.
